Marketing and Business Development Executive (salary AAE, based in London or LA)
CentralNic Ltd, the global domain name registry, is seeking an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial individual to oversee the development of new and existing business units, reporting to senior management. You should have at least one year's experience in Marketing, PR, New Media sales or Business Development. Knowledge of the domain name industry is desirable but not essential. In-depth knowledge of the Internet advertising marketplace and New Media is essential. You will be responsible for developing marketing and advertising plans for our existing properties, as well as developing ideas for new properties, products and services. You should be energetic and hard-working with a good sense of initiative and excellent communication skills.
Developer/System Administrator (from £25k, based in London)
CentralNic Ltd, the global domain name registry, is seeking candidates for a position based in our City of London Head Office. The position is a combined development and system administration role, reporting to senior management. You will be part of a team that develops and maintains CentralNic's domain registry and the network infrastructure that supports it. Knowledge of the Internet Protocol suite, Ethernet, Unix, and PHP and/or Perl is essential. You should have at least 2 year's experience of development on, and administration of, Unix or Linux platforms. You should also be proficient in Linux system administration, including managing Apache, MySQL, BIND and/or PowerDNS, and Linux iptables. Daily duties may also include handling second-level technical support calls. Good knowledge of DNS is highly preferable. You should not apply for this position unless you possess technical proficiency with professionalism, a strong sense of initiative and good communication skills.
