CentralNic Launches New Registrar Console

September 15th, 2010: CentralNic Ltd, a leading provider of domain registry services, today announced the launch of their new Registrar Console. The Registrar Console (available at https://registrar-console.centralnic.com/) provides a web interface to CentralNic's sophisticated domain registry system, allowing CentralNic's 2,000 registrars to manage their accounts and domain names.

Gavin Brown, CentralNic's CTO, said "we have been working very hard to create what we think could well be the best domain management interface in the world: simple to use, fast (thanks to advanced Ajax based technology) and secure." He added, "CentralNic has a great reputation in the industry for the quality of the customer service and support we provide to registrars, and we have frequently received comments about how user friendly our Registrar Console is. We are confident that the new console will set a new standard for registry management interfaces."

CentralNic Registrars shouldn't have any problems using the new console to manage their accounts, but CentralNic will be keeping the old console online at https://old-console.centralnic.com/ for those who don't have time to get up to speed on the new console. This site will remain live for 4 weeks before being shut down permanently.

Access to the new Registrar Console is restricted to accredited CentralNic registrars only, however a gallery of screenshots can be found at https://www.centralnic.com/registrars/newsletters/2010-08/console-screenshots.
